HoD's Note
The HSS Department has now entered a new phase of its evolution. The introduction of the five year integrated masters programme in 2006 and addition of a large number of new teaching faculty during the past 4 years are two of the several major efforts made by the Institute to enhance the Department’s academic stature. The Department has become more competitive in attracting both undergraduate and doctoral students.
